Für SSDs mit PCI-E-4.0- und später 5.0-Anbindung hat Samsung die baldige Verfügbarkeit von 176-Layer-V-NAND in Aussicht gestellt. Derweil gibt es die Nachfolgegenration mit 200 Schichten bereits als Prototyp, während 1.000 das langfristige Ziel sind.
